One of these men was killed by FIRING SQUAD in 2010. TWO YEARS AGO.

No matter how many incredible, beautiful people I meet and no matter how many excellent experiences I have in the United States of America, it is, by and large, a BARBARIC place.

We are so insistent about keeping the death penalty and so convinced of its fairness or rightness or whatever. Like, “these killers deserved to be killed”.

Yet we feed them whatever they like on the day they are to be executed.

That has to mean something. I don’t know what.

But it must show us something about humanity…
